31 km, 2,200 altitude meters up and 1,100 altitude meters down. Right in the heart of the Valais alpine region. This describes much of what awaits you in the highly recognized mountain race Sierre-Zinal. The race has a typical alpine surface. Both fine and rough gravel paths, but also rocky and spectacular rapids, up and down. This requires footwear that is both light, well cushioned and has a sole that is both safe on rough terrain and fast on easy terrain. The Hoka One One Zinal is the shoe that meets all these requirements.

The upper part of the Hoka One One Zinal is a breathable mesh made from recycled material. 100% vegan. Attached tongue for superb foothold and a tight feeling. Protection around the toe box and a relatively firm full cap for stability and safe full grip.

PROFLY midsole designed for safe landings and responsive kick-offs. The foam layer closest to the foot is our lightest EVA composition, while at the same time providing very good response. The bottom layer is made of rubberized EVA for further response and protection against the surface.

The outermost part of the sole consists of 4mm Vibram Litebase studs for the best possible grip and the lowest possible weight.

This super light off-road racer is a perfect choice for faster tempo sessions on trail and gravel, cross-country and mountain runs.
