It is soaking wet in Holmenkollen now at 12.00 on Friday. However, there is precipitation in the form of snow further into Marka. That makes it a bit challenging. We have tested both in Holmenkollen and inside Kikut today. In any case, it will freeze somewhat towards the start tomorrow, so it will be sharp and fast. It will probably be difficult to have ideal skis all the way. But a sticky tire variant will probably be the best option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Slip fluoride:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Place Swix PS6 or similar blue slides in the bottom. Drool and brush well before HF slides.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Then add HF slides Skigo P16 or Maplus HP3 Red. Drool and brush well before powdering.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Finally add Skigo C22 fluoride powder or 50\/50 Maplus FP4 Med\/Maplus FP4 Hot. Brushed out with horsehair and nylon.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Glide fluoride-free:<\/strong>
    Skigo FFR Ed. Drool and brush as usual slides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Structure:<\/strong>
    A medium grind is recommended, with us it is BSK-7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Rib then we recommend putting 1mm straight across - then 2mm straight behind - finally 1mm straight behind. Medium pressure. Poles attached with blue nylon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Attach:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Apply a thin base paste
    2. Then add a layer of Swix KN33 or Vauhti Gold Klister. Leave to harden well, preferably overnight until Saturday.
    3. Cover this with two layers of Rode V0 wax or Swix VP50.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Reminds again that Rex Tape Grip universal <\/strong>masking tape could be a good solution to the above recipe!

    Always have soft adjustment waxes with you at the start. Feel free to wait with coverage until tomorrow morning, as you have a clearer picture of whether a lot of fresh snow has arrived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
